Which presidential election had the greatest impact on voter base change? By voter base change, I mean that the election had a marked influence on changing how different demographics voted for each party (i.e. how the white working-class swung for Trump in 2016)

I think 2016. The actual swing from 2012 wasn't that large, but it masked the fact that there were huge swings in both directions among different demographics.

2000 is another big one though.
