Massive HP. He was a brutal dictator, oppressed political opponents and isolated his country that led an economic disaster.

Justin Trudeau's statement on Fidel Castro is a farce. Castro didn't care for the people of Cuba. He might have made improvements over Batista in education and healthcare, he might have driven the mafia's influence out of Cuba; but he was still a brutal dictator. Cuba's healthcare and education are still inadequate. Most of the country's population is still living in poverty.

Compared to others in Latin America, Cuba's social development is much, much better.

Cuba has the most restrictive freedom of expression in the Americas.

Not what I mean, in terms of poverty, income inequality, infant mortality, illiteracy etc. Restrictive press freedom is obviously horrible, and needs to be rectified on a democratic socialist nature.

TIL it's ok to be a brutal dictator so long as healthcare is free.
