Clinton vote share in the 2008 primary: 240,890
Clinton vote share in the 2016 general election: 187,457
What happened to those ~53k votes (22% of the votes she got in the 2008 primary)? And that's not even counting the votes that Obama got, or people who turned 18 after 2008. Hmmm, I wonder...
But clearly, these people are just economically anxious, and don't deserve an ounce of criticism. Californians, on the other hand, are abominations that don't deserve any respect and shouldn't even be considered Americans. Am I doing this right?
Between 2008 and 2016, the Obama Administration engaged in policies that sought to actively eliminate coal mining jobs. And Hillary made statements that overtly cheered that on.
Would you vote for someone who openly stated that they wanted to end your job? Think about that for a minute. Perhaps that's how the United Mine Workers, a union that backed George McGovern in 1972, endorsed Trump.
