I would think U.S. Trade Representative, which is a Cabinet-level position, would be a likelier use of her talents. Like many Governors, her trips abroad have been for the purpose of promoting trade and recruiting foreign companies to set up shop in her State. As a term-limited governor with no obvious next office to seek, she should be amenable to a minor Cabinet post. Even if she wanted an intra-party fight, there's no Senate race here in 2018. Her only realistic path to getting quickly to the Senate would be for Tim Scott to run and win the Governor's race and then return the favor Haley did him by appointing her to his empty seat.

Would be better than most of the horrible choices that have been discussed so far (Giuliani, Bolton etc.).

But since Trump seems to have something against browns and women, I won't hold my breath.

Giuliani, Romney, Haley....   How about have everyone be Secretary of State and then just abolish the other cabinet positions?
