Since Democrats apparently love the establishment, I think she will survive, I would really love Tim Ryan as minority leader though.

Considering she is one of the richest elites in congress she certainly has the resources to stay on.

She really shouldn't.
I feel we're going down the same path we did in the 70s and 80s, where a bunch of rich old fogies dominated the party and led it to ruin.

We need to wash out the Pelosi's, DWS', Clintons and Podestas from the party. We need our version of Paul Ryan: A young, energetic Social Democrat. We need to move forward, not keep these DLC relics around.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't bet against her this election. I'd love to see Tim Ryan replace her though and believe it would do a lot to improve the image and focus of our party. Progressives should come out strong in support of him like they are for Keith Ellison as DNC Chair.

If she wants it, she'll get it.

If Pelosi wins the leadership again and serves through the coming Congress, she'll have been an ex-Speaker leader for as long as her pre-Speaker leadership and Speakership combined...

I think she's a very effective leader but not an effective candidate. She was a pretty solid Speaker (politics aside) as she got a lot done, but outside of power, she's a very divisive figure. She's in a catch-22.

She's vastly superior to certified low energy losers Jim Clyburn, Tim Ryan, and Steny Hoyer.

She needs to go. Time for the Dems to get a new voice.

I think she needs to go but I am not convinced by the other choices to replace her, the Tim Ryan sorts!

I am just not bothered about this - Pelosi was an okay Speaker though!

Xavier Beccera would be a good choice for the Dems. He is sort of like the Dems version of Paul Ryan.

Much like the DNC chair this is a position where you're valued on how much money you can raise, who you helped etc rather than are you a good candidate. I mean she's raised $500+ since 2002

Her letter to the Caucus claimed she had 2/3rds support; if she goes it's going to be on her accord

If true then that alone should disqualify him.

She's from San Francisco, my hometown and has one of the most diverse caucus in the nation. She will be Democratic leader once again.

She's lame, but her replacement would probably be worse like Steny Hoyer or Tim Ryan.

fat lot of good that gives you nowadays though, unless you're ploughing it all in local races.

I know Republicans that would be willing to register as Democrats but won't because of her. They voted for Obama but we really could use more support.

miss pelosi is pragmatic, a great fundraiser, an effective leader and compared to the republican suicide caucus she is effective too.

but she is waaaay too old, like with prince harry.

there must be new people as talented as them.
