There are really good early voting numbers out of the more conservative areas of Nashville.  Cooper should still pull this out, but Stacy Ries Snyder has run a good campaign, and it could be a bit of an underwhelming margin.

It's Cooper's district as long as he wants it - I think this district has the potential to be competitive once he leaves, though.

Oh come on, this is a seat that went for Obama by double digits...in Tennessee.

The only way Republucans pick up this seat is if they cracked Nashville between two or three districts.

I actually like Cooper for personal reasons so I hope he wins. And given the nature of his district I suspect he would only lose in a catastrophic year for Democrats.
