I know a lot of the Forum Community has been drifting away from Atlasia for years, but there is a lot of fun right under your nose. We are currently engaged in the most contested election in years, which will be decided in a series of three lawsuits. Bush v Gore style.

It's worth checking out and maybe getting back into it!

I will stay registered, I think.

But I will only vote, and not ever get involved with running for something. You guys take it way to seriously and what happened over the weekend was totally unacceptable.

Atlasia is a despicable hellhole for sad, antisocial teenagers. I wouldn't get involved there if I were you.

How savage of you! Whoever is president in Atlasia needs to open up the libel laws and take you to task.

That will happen as soon as someone is elected(these past two have been, debatably, ties).

Speaking as a former President, Atlasia simply isn't worth it. One can stay there for a number of different reasons, but boy do people take it seriously... (as I did for quite a while)

Eh, I'll let it slide. It's inaccurate, but also a subjective statement and part of Atlas's nature of overreactions.

To me Atlasia is great, but it's obviously not for everyone. You can participate in different levels, which is one of the fun things about it, and take it as "seriously" as you like.

Of course, which is why it's not as irresponsible as one might think to waste spend time playing it--everything else is just as meaningless.

There's an old Romanian folksong my Grandma used to sing to me. It goes: Life is short and life is sh**t and soon it will be over!

Go play your game kids.

I went through the "too cool for school" phase too, which is different from the "old and bitter" some of these guys are in. You'll come around.

I enjoyed it when I was there but became burnt out when real life also burned me out. It was really fun while I was there though, the rebellions, the backroom deals, the blood feuds that started out as love stories, etc.

When people aren't trying to rip each other's throats out, it's a really fun game.

Amen. And more longstanding players need to take a hint.
