Mine would have to be "Jack and Vera will be pleased" in response to Illinois senate race polls that are positive for Tammy. I'd be impressed if any non-Brit on here gets that, and I doubt if even many of the Brits get it.

Probably my username - Thinking Crumpet's Crumpet, unless this forum has a hidden deep knowledge of British humor and idioms that I'm not aware of.

I once compared Jeb's campaign slogo to Jimmy Saville while being interviewed by a reporter at the Sunshine State Summit about this time last year. I said this while I was there on my internship's dime during the period in which they were still very much deeply involved with that very campaign. Thankfully, it was the Washington Times or some other third rate rag so nobody read it and I continued interning there until June.

I've made a few references to a novel that hasn't been published yet.

My current username requires a bit of NI politics knowledge to figure out.

Not especially obscure, but I once posted Ja, Ich bin Hussite in response to a question.

Between my spergy obsessions with places nobody cares about, I feel like I've probably made more than a few 'obscure references'
