After the failure of the Articles of Confederation, George Washington refused to become President of the Third Continental Congress. Benedict Arnold, a war hero known for his success in bringing down the British spy system throughout America and great defensive skills at Fort Knox, was successfully elected. With William Franklin, Francis Franklin, a former colonel and popular veteran, and Alexander Hamilton, President
Arnold managed to gain enough votes for a monarchy. With the assistance of the moderate republican James Madison, the Great Constitution was written, establishing a parliamentary system. This contained a People's Council(two at-large, the rest proportional; elected by the people with no restrictions but 25 years of age; it also elected a PM), a Royal Council(elected one from every state; unofficially, only nobles and elder statesmen could be elected; however, the king serves as tiebreaker), a Grand Imperial Court of the United States(GICUS; eleven justices appointed by king; six confirmed by the Royal Council, five by People's Ciuncil), and, of course, the king.

Prince Henry, with the support of General Gates, General Lee, President Arnold, and the Baron von Steuben, appears to be the front runner. Former loyalists/Tories, British sympathizers, mainstream republicans, and Irish-Americans appear to support Prince Frederick. James Madison is the most notable person to have not endorsed either candidate, but rumor has it he is leaning towards Prince Henry. Colonel Lewis Nicola is prepared to take the fight to any and all foreign countries. He runs as an isolationist with strong ties to staunch republicans like Patrick Henry.
