Excellent job. Nice to have a moderator who doesn't show which candidate he supports for once. Asked tough questions to both, stayed calm, kept things on track.

To my astonishment, easily the best of the season. Mind you, I would have appreciated it if he had asserted a bit more grip over his two charges, but he at least kept the audience under control. For the first time in my life, I'll give him an A.

Superb job. I was a bit wary going into it, but I think he was a fine moderator.

Yes, and by a lot.

I would certainly love to do away for good with the "Town Hall" formats, btw.

Best moderator of the debate season.  There were was a couple times where I thought he let Trump run him over, but overall he did a good job keeping the audience in line and keeping order to the debate format.  And he asked equally tough questions to the candidates.

wild theory:

if a real mod like wallace asked about specifics it was impossible for trump to win since he only knows talking points.

He did surprisingly well. By challenging Clinton, he actually made her look better

I agree. By actually digging more into each candidate (though still not quite as much as I would have liked), he made clear which one could actually lay claim to substance on policy, and which one was a fake orange clown.

Pretty good overall, kept it more focused and civil than others. But the end questions were like 1960's era republican questions that I don't care much about. Would have greatly preferred questions on Climate Change, wealth inequality, something more relevant to young voters and the future.

A+

He did everything you want a moderator to do- ask tough questions of both sides, keep it structured, but flexible, allow the candidates to debate, and not fact-check either candidate.

Chris Wallace is very underrated honestly and was the most objective moderator I saw.

B+  To get an A, I would have liked him to actually have stopped all their bickering over each other, but by the end he was tired and I don't blame him. Love that he chewed out the audience multiple times and was polite while smacking Trump for interrupting.

Fox has been fairly neutral this election considering their hesitation to support Trump. You can see some of that in the way Wallace moderated.
