I voted by absentee on Oct 13. Dropped back at the Alachua SOE. I like voting by absentee cause you can see when they receive it. All the immediate family members have voted as of yesterday, 2 early and 1 absentee besides me. As you can tell by the sticker that's four more for Crooked Hillary in the swing state of FL.

Isn't it against the law to vote absentee if you are not actually outside of the county, during all of early voting and on Election Day?  At least it is in Tennessee.

Nah, I'll vote on Election Day as always. There's never really been any long lines at my precinct, and I doubt that'll change this year.

If that was the case all the older Republicans here would be unable to cast a ballot...
Vote-by-mail refers to voting a ballot received by mail or picked up by or for a voter who is unable or unwilling to go to the polls to vote during early voting or Election Day. A voter does not have to be absent from the county of residence or have an excuse in order to vote-by-mail except on Election Day

I guess different states have different rules around it, then.  I would bet that we also allow it for people who physically can't go to the polls, but I'm not 100% sure.

No, I can't until Monday, when I will vote early for Clinton, Feingold and Ryan.

I understand you voting for Clinton (as Trump is detestable), but I'm interested in why you are voting Feingold over the more traditionally Republican Ron Johnson.

Johnson had just been infuriating lately. He's also full on tea party which is not my cup of tea. Wants to end SS, turn medicare into a voucher program. He always brags about how he's a manufacturer when he married into his money and was given his business that sold solely to his father in law and did well.

And just recently started calling Feingold a phony and telling everyone he shouldn't be respected. Also missed 40+% of his votes.

Georgia has no-excuse absentee voting.  Anyone can request an absentee ballot.

Voting Clinton, Mike Workman for senate (protest against Lankford), David Hallum for Congress (protest against Bridenstine), John Waldron (D) (State Senate, enthusiastic vote), and Carol Bush (R) for State House (defeated awful GOP incumbent, gets my vote for now until she proves herself horrible in the legislature)

I have not voted yet.
My rule is to never vote early, just in case some new and extraordinary "event" my arise regarding one of the candidates.
In 29 years of voting (and NEVER missing a single federal, state, county or local election), I only voted early once. What happened was that I knew I had a super-early flight out of town for a business trip on the day of the election, so I voted early the day before (it was not a presidential election).

I'm going to vote on Election Day because it's like books and ebooks. Sure, one is more convenient, but it's just not the same.

I voted for Clinton in Texas today. My first time voting Dem for President.

Otherwise, my usual ballot. Dem for state house & senate, Rep for courts, and Libertarian for sheriff.

Voted after work today in Forsyth County, Georgia.  No wait, low turnout so far according to poll worker (although this is only the second day of early voting).

That's good news!  Let's hope the low turnout continues--Forsyth is one of the most Republican counties in the country.

I early voted at a polling place today (public library).

I voted for Trump-Pence, Marco Rubio, and Rep. Bill Posey (a local Republican).  I voted straight Republican except for a State Senate Candidate and a gadfly candidate for County Commission who I like, even though he's a bit nuts.

Outside the library was this guy who was wearing a Clinton/Kaine t-shirt (kind of ratty), a had that had "OBAMA" on it (it looked like he sewed it), and he was urging folks to vote for Hillary, letting folks know that he was a Socialist from California, how he was for "free college" and "free stuff" and "sticking it to the 1%" with tax increases.  Now I live in a county which is (A) mega-GOP (no viable Democratic Party) and (B) one of the most affluent in Florida (although I'm not one of the affluent crowd), so he had to be ticking people off.

So here's my question for the forum:  Was he (A) a Trump plant who wanted to make Clinton look ridiculous, (B) a Clinton Podestoid, looking to provoke some Trump supporters to pick a fight, or (C) a guy who's an honest social incompetent?  Personally, I think Little Donnie Segretti put the guy up to it, but I can't make up my mind as to who Little Donnie Segretti was working for.

I'm shocked at seeing the number of Atlas members who indicated that the are ineligible to vote.
Do we really have that many members here, who are under 18 years of age ?
Or maybe many of these individuals are non-US citizens living outside of the country who just have an interest in American politics ?

Mailed my ballot in today!  I'm so pleased with our mail in voting system.  I've only been able to vote since 2008 so I've never voted in an election in WA where we had polling places.

No, I may not agree with Harris on everything or even a lot, but Sanchez is crazy.

I'm honestly concerned with how Indiana handles early ballots.  So I'll just vote on Election Day and try not to get roughed up (I look like a Democrat).
