Clinton: 46
Trump: 37
Johnson: 8
Stein: 2

Clinton: 50%
Trump: 40%

I think this is a new one which means that Clinton has gone down 2 in the past few days

Conducted from Saturday-Monday

Will never grow tired of seeing that magic number. Glad to see it backed up by further interviews here.

As expected.  Trump gains back some of the R's he lost from the video after the debate.  A 9 point lead this late in the election will be very hard for him to overcome.  Small change from the last poll though.  Could just be statistical noise.

According to the pollsters Trump's numbers improved by rallying his base with his debate performance, so nothing surprising here.

so... little to no change?

14 was always too good to be true. It looks like 9-11 points is not.

"Among only those respondents contacted after the debate, Clinton leads Trump by seven points in both a 4-way matchup and in a H2H"

The dust has not yet settled ...

I think Hillary's lead is a bit overblown right now, but she's still clearly ahead. But she's likely to win by no more than 5% on election day, not 8-12%.

Pretty much.

89% of Republicans now back him instead of 72%. Trump is still toast, but this should help the GOP still retain control of the house.

I get why they want to do pre and post debate poll but it would be cleaner to not overlap samples.  Why not a sat/sun poll and a mon/tue poll?

I didn't mean it like that, it's still a huge lead. I couldn't remember if she was up 11 or 14.

The initial +11 poll had a very small sample size for a national poll (approximately 450 LVs, I believe?), so this is pretty much statistical noise.  With the Pussygate video, the debate, and now Trump going nuclear on the Republican Party all happening in just a few days, we're in a very fluid situation.  Voters are still absorbing all of this, and it will take a bit more time for the polls to fully "price in" all the information people have received.

Overall, I think we can say that Hillary is in a fantastic position, and I eagerly wait further high-quality polling to see how strong her lead is.

i absolutely think, if hillary-leaks is going to dominate the headlines for a few days besides the trump implosion and no new tapes until the third debate, her lead will again "shrink" to 4-5%...but the third debate and the big final will make her rise again.

MORNING JOE: Why are they only releasing polls during Trump's low points?
PANEL: they are currently in the field post debate
MORNING JOE: I know I work here, these numbers are cooked
PANEL: these polls are more than just a snapshot in time, people are currently voting
MORNING JOE: yeah, so say its tied at the end of the week...
MIKA: yeah ok *nods*
