Appeals to tradition, Everywhere!

Heck no , the senate is not supposed to be representative of populations it's supposed to be representives of the states

Of course not. The Senate works fine as it is. Stop complaining because your cities-only strategy is locking you out of it, Democrats.

Democrats?

Amazing how nobody has managed to present a moral argument as to why some people should be better represented than others. 23 posts and nothing aside from DavidB's political expediency comment. Simply amazing.

Supporting Rubio in the primary was expected. Already followed and loved him in 2012. And since I supported Romney in 2012, supporting Rubio in the Republican primary was a logical step anyway. However, I could never have foreseen that I would support Hillary Clinton, and if 2016 DavidB would have told libertarian 2012 DavidB that future DavidB would be #WithHer, that would certainly have been a big WTF moment. Did I become a liberal, or did the Republicans nominate David Duke?

-Given your economic score on the Political Matrix, the former.

I guess afleitch, Devout Centrist, and a few other red avvies are quite the conservative then.

And I guess Dwarven "Aaaah socialism is wrong and evil...go Kasich" Dragon is a liberal.

...or not.

Found out that my cat died this morning, which really hit me as I'm wasn't back home to see him. He'd been ill for the last couple of days but I thought it was just an infection.  We've had him for 15 years, and he was my first pet- completely ruined my weekend

... I'm a terrible person. Blair don't read this tiny text, it will hurt.

My first thought after reading this was: "What a cat-astrophe!"

Trump isn't winning WI outside of your fantasies. Hasn't broken 40% in a single poll.

Early general election polls do not tell us how competitive a state will be in November. How many times does this have to be said to you?

It's very convenient you just want to write off all General Election polls as worthless because Trump does so terribly in them....but actually at this point in the race they have quite a lot of value.

BTW - Republicans didn't have much chance in WI to begin with...With Trump as the Nom...it's literally "not a chance in hell".

No one would give a sh**t about Harris if it wasn't for identity politics and that Obama had said she was attractive.

Nacht der langen Messer?!

Very impressive.  We usually get in at least one page before Godwin kicks in, even in threads about Republicans.

Pussygrabber Godwin'd his whole administration himself weeks ago.

Besides, Godwin's Law doesn't apply to discussion of actual Nazis.

So what? "Old Strom" served until 100, Robert Byrd - until 92, IIRC. Both were not idiots, that sure...

Strom Thurmond was a racist old kook before he retired

Thurmond wasn't a racist since 1970th, when he began to hire Black assistants and help Blacks to be appointed to different posts. Thurmond of 1970th was different from Thurmond of 1948.. Conservative - of course, but no more racist.. History changes people just as vice versa..

Still an appeal to tradition.

Well mine is literally not an appeal to tradition. I'm talking about current countries.

You're right, although I would have honestly put your entire post here, no offense.
