New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie wins renomination in 2017, with no term limits, despite the Bridgegate scandal and the poor economy. He faces former Goldman Sachs CEO Phil Murphy, the Democratic nominee for governor. Who wins?

I wonder if some GOP State Senate and Assembly members would lose their seats.

Murphy feels safe enough to pick a running mate like Wisniewski, and doesn't pay a price for it at all, given his enormous leads in the polls.

Murphy/Wisniewski (D) 63%
Christie/Guagdano (R) 33%
Rorhman/Laguerre (L) 3.7%
Kaper-Dale/Durden (G) 0.3%

Basically this. why would an incumbent Governor with a 15% approval rating lose by any less than 30%?
