A global poll conducted by WIN/Gallup International in 45 countries that aggregate 75% of the World Population shows that if the countries could vote in the US Presidential election, Hillary Clinton would win every country except Russia. The poll founds the 69% say that next POTUS will have a high or very high impact on their countries. And only 16% say that the next President should put America first and disregard global interests.

The poll was conducted between August and September 2016, in 45 countries and a total of 44,194 were polled. The margin of error is 3.5% with a confidence level of 95%

Top 3 countries where Hillary has a bigger edge over Trump:

1º Portugal: 80% Cheesy
2º Finland: 79%
3º South Korea: 79%

Top 3 countries where Hillary has a smaller edge over Trump:

1º Russia: -23%
2º China: 9%
3º Palestine: 22%

How unsurprising that Trump does best in Russia and China. The two countries that stand to benefit the most from the severe weakening of the western world that would be the result of a Trump win.

Wish they'd polled Israel, Phillipines and Hungary. Might not have been quite so lopsided then.

I'm absolutely shocked Russia is only -23%. I would have predicted more like -60%.

Trump gets 5% in Mexico and 12% in Canada lol. The only countries where he cracks 30 are Russia and the United States. Sad!

I think this is because the media paints a caricature of the Republican Party internationally

There was a recent poll in Chile on a similar matter, asking who would be a better President when accounting for Chile's interests:

Clinton: 80%
Trump: 5%
Don't Know: 15%

That's like saying that the media paints a caricature of Kim Kardashian as a vapid attention whore.

I'm surprised Trump doesn't win China.  They are by all accounts jubilant at his ascent, and they really don't like the Clintons.

Those in China who relish an America in a downward spiral with an easily manipulated leader are probably balanced by those who fear an America with a madman at the helm.

Well the Republicans don't make the media work too hard for that caricature then.    It must be an especially easy sell with Trump.

In fairness, 57%  of Russians had no preference at all.

Does it also have anything to do with Portugal as the last country in "Western Europe" polled where there was a Fascist government in place, that was overthrown through a non-violent People Power movement back in 1974 during the Carnation Revolution?

I would imagine that as such a recent historical event, would still have major impact on the great people of Portugal when looking at extreme populist-nationalist type politicians worldwide, particularly in large countries within both Europe and the Americas.

Have not been paying attention to the media recently. They are bad for the mind with their onslaught of negativity. Don't have time for it.

64/15 here, actually lower than the support Obama had both times but about in line with Kerry's IIRC.

Yes, it has an impact because, we don't like extreme politicians. For example, you mention the 1974 revolution and, as we were overthrowing a fascist regime, we also rejected, vehemently, a possible control by the communists. We don't like extreme policies or politics. It's something that across our history we have always rejected time after time.

strangely enough that seems to match up with about 15% of the UK supporting UKIP.
