Pence won pretty handily (though he didn't humiliate Kaine), which simply means that I and the rest of the country will echo Ebsy:

I voted draw.  Pence won on style, Kaine on content, and it won't move the needle noticeably.

Pence definitely. Kaine did his job but was too scattered. Pence hit all his points and avoided the pitfalls of explaining Trump's inconsistencies.

It will stabilize Trump's campaign somewhat but in the big picture will not matter unless Trump can do something in the next debate.

Hard to say,

Kaine started off strong but declined while Pence gradually improved imo.

why should anyone care about it, if pence campaigns on the anti-trump platform? Wink

Lean Kaine. Kaine was there to be an attack dog against Trump and defend Hillary. He accomplished that and was respectful while doing that. Pence did win the first half, but as Trump got bogged down with the "facts".

Pence couldn't defend Trump so Kaine won.

Kaine won because Pence didn't defend his boss.

"Tell me about Kaine! Why does he wear the mask? A lot of loyalty, for a hired gun!"
"Or perhaps he's wondering why someone would shoot a man, before throwing him out of a plane?"
"At least you can talk. Who are you?"
"It doesn't matter who we are, what matters is our plan.  No one cared who I was until I was nominated for veep."
"If I interrupt you, would you die?"
"It would be extremely painful."
"You're a big guy!"
"For you."
"Was getting angry part of your plan?"
"Of course... Dr. Pavel refused our offer in favor of yours, we had to find out what he told you."
"Nothing! I said nothing!"
"Well, congratulations!  You defended your own running mate!  Now what's the next step in your master plan?"
"Crashing this stage... with no survivors!"

Since casual viewers don't actually care about the facts of the things that were actually said, I'm sure Pence will be declared the "winner."

Chuck Todd: Mike Pence won for Mike Pence, but that's not what this debate was about.

Kaine won, but barely.
Nothing like when Hillary smashed trump.
Pence lost because he couldn't (or wouldn't) defend trump. Pence knows deep inside his soul and heart, that trump is a disgusting piece of ****.

I said Kaine. I see a lot of praise for Pence. Calmly, eloquently denying that your running mate said the asinine things he said is not a victory in my book, but, at the same time, Kaine did not do amazingly well, either.
