If we're here to nominate a new city for the Feb convention, I nominate Charlotte, NC.

I nominate the city of Baltimore, Maryland, to show solidarity with the victims of gun violence, police brutality, and discrimination. And also because the South rules!

Why not Mentone, then? It's in the South and has one of the highest gun violence rates in America - five percent of the entire population was killed due to gun violence in 2011.

I sadly, don't think a town with a population of 360 will support the infrastructure of this convention. But I think Mentone is a great example of the ravages of gun violence across the nation.

A population of 360 won't, but one of 20 will. Wink

You're thinking of the wrong Mentone, NeverAgain. I'm talking about the one in Texas.

Texas isn't in the South. Too Liberal.

In that case I agree with NeverAgain on Baltimore.

I was meant to certify this on Thursday night, but life got in the way.

After plugging it through the Electoral Calculator I hereby declare that Baltimore, Maryland is the home of our next convention

Before I open up the next convention (which I will do on the weekend) as Chair I have the final change to the party by-laws. I move for a vote by acclamation

I nominate Santander - not because I'll vote for him, but because I want a competitive primary.
