Did Trump really mock reporter's disability?

I believe he did not, if you believe he did just watch below clip and comment.

Just post what is between the brackets in to youtube search tool and watch.
(Media Exposed: Donald Trump Did NOT Make Fun of a Disabled Reporter)

I never followed that story line, so if he did or didn't mock a reporter, I don't know.

I do have to ask, though, that at this point, after all the garbage that has come out of Trump's mouth over the past year or so....what does it matter?

In the video he mocked people who are disabled, and that is bad in itself.

It's definitely possible that he didn't, that he was just waving his arms in a general mocking manner, but I don't see why anyone would give the benefit of the doubt to Donald Trump, who has proven to be a deplorable and immature bully.

Considering he didn't do this in regards to ANY OTHER REPORTER before or since, he clearly was mocking that person's disability.

It sure as hell looked like it. It doesn't really matter if he uses the same flailing arms thing to make fun of other, non-disabled people. It's like those people who insult others by doing an impression of them talking, but their impression is the same one for everyone, mainly because they suck at it. Think Kaine and his Trump bit at the DNC. I'd venture to guess that that isn't the first time he has used that corny-dad impression voice.

Maybe people would believe Trump when he says he wasn't making fun of his disability if he didn't blatantly insult so many other people/groups and then come out later saying he was just being "sarcastic." He has no credibility whatsoever.

I can't help but find it amusing just how often Trump is supposedly misunderstood. Yes, it's all of us who are frequently misinterpreting him and definitely not him just being an asshole. That surely makes more sense.

I believe he didn't.

I wasn't sure at first back when this happened, but when I saw pictures of the guy it became pretty obvious.

Of the videos on that site, only in the one where he's mocking Ted Cruz does it look similar. The one where he's mocking the general doesn't look similar at all.

Even if he honestly did not mean to mock the reporter for his disability, it is obvious why people would get that impression. So his reaction to this should have been to apologize. He could have explained that he honestly did not mean to mock the reporter in that way but that he understands what he did was inappropriate, it's on him, and that he's sorry. That's how a normal, decent individual would have handled this. The fact that he can't do that, or be even the slightest bit conciliatory, does not make me want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

He made fun of disabled people, period. Whether he mocked the reporter or not, Trump still made fun of people who have a disability like that. No pass.

in a way at this point it doesn't matter. The fact that both the CLinton campaign and the PUSA super pac have used that clip in multiple ads shows that it tests well with their target voters. So if he did or he didn't, people think he did and in the world of elections (rightly or wrongly) perception is reality.

I am WAY more confident he mocked a disability than that Al Gore claimed to have invented the internet

Al Gore actually did claim to have invented the internet.  He just didn't use the word 'invent.'  However he clearly meant to say that he 'was one of those whose initiative led to the 'invention' of the internet' which is absolutely true.

Still, it was Gore's awkward use of language like that that kept the election result close enough to allow the Supreme Court to select George W Bush as President.

Unfortunately, it only became clear later that while Gore used language awkwardly, Bush simply made stuff up.

In answer to the question asked here: of course Trump did.

I would be interested in knowing though if Trump 'mocked' Cruz in a similar way before or after he 'mocked' the reporter.

Agreed. Most (not all) of the Trump supporters in this thread seem to have ignored it.

He never made the arm gestures regarding any other journalists misreporting him or whatever. He never made the arm gestures at Ben Carson for being crazy. He's literally only done it in this case.

That should be enough.
