She's literally, objectively correct.

Maybe the folks getting upset about this need some thicker skin.

I also think her poll numbers regarding honesty go up 10 points after this because some of the people who think she's dishonest are Sanders fans from the primary who will think she's absolutely right to air Trump's supporters out like this

Anyone who would be offended by this was never going to vote for her in the first place. Also, this is the type of stuff HER base has been waiting to hear. Not only Trump supporters are angry.

Trump is at about 40% nationwide. Half of that is 20%

That sounds about right.

That's what I was saying about her honesty issues...it will help her on that because it brings back Democrats and some left-leaning independents who didn't like her email explanations but think she is 110% right to rip apart Trump supporters.

Think about it. The reason why Trump isn't polling in the 20s is because there is a larger number of people who are fired up by his comments about Mexicans, etc. than previously thought. Clinton is firing up HER base by pointing out that these people are deplorable for agreeing with Trump on his racism

My energy for outrage is burnt at this point. November can't come anytime soon?

Withholding Sanders supporters are way less than 10% of the electorate, even if they were all swayed by this.

This was one of the few fundraisers open to the press. Hillary did this on purpose, it was no gaffe.

Based on what I know of the Trump supporters here, her statement is accurate.

The easiest way to guess if someone supports Trump? Ask if Obama is a Muslim.

Racial resentment, not economic anxiety, explains Trump's support.

http://www.vox.com/2016/6/2/11833548/donald-trump-support-race-religion-economy

You can ask just one simple question to find out whether someone likes Donald Trump more than Hillary Clinton: Is Barack Obama a Muslim? If they are white and the answer is yes, 89 percent of the time that person will have a higher opinion of Trump than Clinton.

That’s more accurate than asking people if it’s harder to move up the income ladder than it was for their parents (54 percent), whether they oppose trade deals (66 percent), or if they think the economy is worse now than last year (81 percent). It’s even more accurate than asking them if they are Republican (87 percent).

Those results come from the 2016 American National Election Study (ANES) pilot survey. My analysis indicates that economic status and attitudes do little to explain support for Donald Trump.

Wrong or not, a presidential candidate calling a fifth of Americans deplorable state comes across as pretty nasty.

Trump does it on a bi-weekly basis.

Trump does it daily against at least a third of Americans (those who are non-white) and if you include women in that, over half the country

She's lying through her teeth. Everybody knows that it is more like 90% of Trump's supporters that belongs in those categories.

The interesting about this could be that the truth is more punished than lies now. People complain about politicians lying to them but the real problem is when people lie to themselves. We maybe ready for change, but we are not ready to change.

True, but isn't it interesting how people who complain about others being 'politically correct' turn out to be hypersensitive and easily outraged! themselves?

Anti "safe space/SJW" people have always and forever been the people that wanted and needed safe spaces the most for their nasty opinions.

1) She's right
2) It was idiotic to say

Trump keeps throwing interceptions and Clinton keeps shanking field goals to keep him in the game.

She is not incorrect. The only people angry about this are people who are already voting for Trump and people who are racist, but want to pretend like they are not.

Trump calls Hispanics rapists and it's a hilarious joke. The double standards are clear.
