Trump threw the week with the apocalyptic and extremist speech, and the horrible performance in his international visit to Mexico.

Clinton. Trumps immigration speech destroyed 2 weeks of outreach to the non-white community....

I'm beginning to wonder whether or not Trump will win a single one of these "who won the week polls". I kind of doubt it.

To answer the question, Clinton by default. She didn't win, Trump lost.

There's no way in hell Trump won this week after that immigration speech. Sorry, but there isn't enough uneducated white males in this country to make it a positive.

I'm trying to understand why people think that the immigration speech was the end of the world. He said the same things as he said beforehand. I voted Trump

On specific issues championed by Trump, more people support mandatory deportation of illegal aliens (an idea from which Trump has recently backpedaled) than building a wall on the border with Mexico (an idea he continues to push). The poll found 50% supported mandatory deportation, but only 46% back the wall.

Trump. The speeches (outside convention speeches) are highly overrated in impact on both sides. Hillary's Alt Right speech did nothing reflected in the polls to change the race, and neither will Trump's immigration speech. The average voter doesn't watch speeches unless they just happen to catch them live while flipping through channels or sipping a drink at the bar.

Neither had a particularly good week, but Trump managed to stay on message a little better. So technically a win for him.

I really dont understand why someone would choose to devote all their time to trolling this backwater of the internet. All we do is post polls and argue. Although he might want to check out some of the other parts of Atlas if he really intends to devote all his time here, some good reading to be had.

Trump won the week; he had a polling uptick and Hillary had more e-mail grief.

I just watched CNN.  They reported that Hillary told the FBI she "wasn't trained" on classified information.  I don't know what she meant in legalese with that response, but it'll be a gift that keeps on giving for Trump, who needs to make Hillary look "un-Presidential".

Easily Trump. He's meeting with African American community leaders, making foreign trips, appeasing his base while also sending the message that his vision is moderating...

Meanwhile Hillary is stuck in e-mail and Clinton Foundation turmoil.

I would say Trump won, but saying America lost is more accurate.

We're currently seeing why people like Hitler, Mao, Stalin, po pot, Kim jong un, Saddam Hussein and so many other truly evil people can be supported by their populations, only to end up doing such evil things. Sadly, most of humanity loves to hear the guy that screams and points the finger at the other guy as human beings are a tribal and violent species...That is what really matters to most of our species. Very few care about the guy/gal that warns about such and seeks the high ground.

That is why so many are voting for Trump. Humans love our dictatorship, fascist and monsters.
