I seem to remember Wulfric hoping that Sanders could beat Hillary, at one point. Does that mean that he's a socialist, too?

Uh, I never endorsed Sanders for President. What I have said is:

1) Sanders giving Hillary a semi-tough race was necessary preparation for her to do well in the GE, and

2) I originally hoped that Sanders would beat Hillary so that Rubio or Kasich could win in a YUGE landslide. This was before Trump locked things up.

I never said that I endorsed Sanders to actually become president, and that is what matters.

No it isn't; what matters is whether you are in any way related to anyone who is in any way related to someone who supported Sanders.

No, what matters if I myself am related to a Sanders supporter. And to my knowledge, I am not. Although I reasonably could be, and in that case I would be a socialist by association. I don't like that, but it's the way things are.

Throw him in the water with iron weights. If he's a socialist he'll float.

And then good capitalists can sell the socialist as a slave or a capitalist as food.

I recently found out that my 80 year old grandma voted for Sanders in the NC primary, so I guess our (arguably) most conservative member is a socialist!

Since you're two links away from her and live in a different state, you have two safe guards. Petition to change your username to Fake Socialist.

I have created a method to absolve oneself of the socialist by association status.

1. One may get elected to congress, governor, president, or state legislature and consistently advocate and vote for capitalist policies during a full term, or

2. One may apologize for endorsing Sanders and admit that they endangered the country by doing so.

1. may be applied retroactively if I approve. Either is voided if they endorse a self-declared socialist in the future, but they will be forever protected from being declared a socialist by association otherwise. Endorsing someone who is only a socialist by association and not by admission is always permissible and does not make one a socialist by association.

Collin Petersen and Dan Lipinski are absolved via 1. at this time.

Calling yourself a capitalist is more important than actually supporting capitalist policies?

How to absolve oneself of this status:

1. One may get elected to congress, governor, president, or state legislature and consistently advocate and vote for capitalist policies during a full term, or

2. One may apologize for endorsing Sanders and admit that they endangered the country, or

3. One may present convincing evidence that they have resisted their relation, or

4. one may disavow Sanders's endorsement of their candidacy

Eventually, there comes a time when you realize that being labeled a socialist by Wulfric is not only unavoidable, but perhaps desirable.

My favorite line of his in the debates was when he started advocating for small businesses I think it went something like this:

"I am a democratic socialist, and one of the tenants of democratic socialism is the protection of labor unions and small businesses."
