I took an entire class on the First Amendment that was built on hypotheticals like these. Of course, what I think the First Amendment says and what I think should be allowed differs a bit (I generally think the First Amendment is too broad).

Based on the First Amendment readings I find most persuasive, 1, 2, 4, and 7 are probably protected. 3 can be restricted in the form of a "time, place, and manner" regulation, and 5 and 6 based on a captive audience situation insofar as it's impossible not to see a large billboard.

Some seem in the area of pornography (graphic homo sex depictions), and carrying around actual dead fetuses is illegal for health reasons. Those items are not protected speech. The rest are.

Since this is in Individual Politics I'm going to assume this is about what should be legal according to us, as opposed to what is actually legal. 2 and 3 should clearly be illegal, I'm in doubt about 1 but lean legal, and the rest should clearly be legal.

All of them except the malt liquor motto and "" on a billboard depending on what the word is.

I think what is meant by a "white sheet event" is something like a KKK rally.

On the first option, I personally detest such groups as the KKK (it's one reason why I won't vote for Trump).  However, as long as they don't resort to violence to try get their message across, groups should be free to hold "white sheet rallies" anywhere they wish.  :-/

Actually, the courts have ruled this to be free speech....personally, I believe that they are in error.

Are you saying would or should? In terms of "would", I don't know if a poll is the best way to gauge. In terms of "should", definitely all but 3 and 6, and maybe 6 as well. 3 is the only one I would definitively cross out, and I voted for all but 3.

Only #2 should be. Maybe #1, but that seems pretty bad imo.

I find the idea of two speech marks on a billboard a grotesque crime against nature.

Well, it is the word "" afterall.
And option three could just be pictures of aborted fetuses shown in front of children at recess.
