If they are serious and throw a 7 digit sum behind him, I could see him winning UT and either winning ID or more likely, throwing it to Clinton.

You mean Clinton possibly winning AZ. Utah is still a longshot

He's getting more attention than he deserves, I'll maybe consider voting for him if he gets access to 270 electoral votes, which is pretty much impossible.

Already impossible. IIRC his best bet is like 7 states max.

Do you think he'll at least get more votes than Rocky de la Fuente?

Now that's a good question. I'll say yes, he will beat De La Fuente.
I bet he won't. De La Fuente has actually managed to get on more ballots and has a very meager campaign infrastructure in place (ironically, the best for the Reform Party since Uncle Pat ran) for a while. I think they'll more or less tie for sixth place.
He got the Reform line???

FWIW, I had brunch with my aunt, uncle, and cousin at a restaurant right across the street from McMullin's campaign headquarters. It is based in downtown Tallahassee. I think it also is conveniently located in the same building as influential Florida consultant/spokesperson of the #NeverTrump movement, Rick Wilson.

Mcmuffin doesn't get on Oregon ballot. No surprise there as it was a big hurdle, but did submit over the required amount for Wyoming, but it will be close as to whether he makes it there due to invalid signatures. It will be appropriate if Virginia represents his best signature gathering accomplishment as that ties in with his belt-way, deep-state, persona.

Why does McMullin have headquarters in a place that he's (apparently) not going to be on the ballot?

Former US Senator from Washington, Slade Gorton, has endorsed McMuffin McMullin for President.

A ballot-qualified minor party nominated McMullin in SC. Similar efforts failed in FL.

Updated Map:

Green - On Ballot or likely to be On Ballot
Blue - Failed to make Ballot or Unlikely to do so
Gray - Entered too late to make Ballot

99 electoral votes on the wall, 99 electoral votes

His failure to make the ballot in AZ where he could actually have gotten some solid (meaning >1%) support is laughable.

The signature requirement there was just too high for someone who entered at the last minute.

McMullin doesn't make it in Rhode Island since you have to complete part of their process in June. He entered too late for this.

Important Updates:

- McMullin didn't make it on in a few states where he was originally expected to do so, namely Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming. See sources below:

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/evan-mcmullin-on-minnesota-ballot-227400
http://www.politico.com/story/2016/09/evan-mcmullin-wyoming-ballot-227920

- The deadlines in Kentucky and Mississippi are today (http://www.occasionalplanet.org/2016/08/08/can-evan-mcmullin-get-on-ballot-state-charthow-independent-candidates-get-on-the-ballot-heres-a-state-by-state-chart/; http://ballot-access.org/2016/09/06/kentucky-secretary-of-state-approves-green-party-presidential-petition/), so we should get an update on whether he made it there sometime next week.

- Per Wikipedia, McMullin achieved write-in access in a number of states.

So this is the new map:

Green - On Ballot or likely to be On Ballot
Red - Write-In Access Only
Blue - Failed to make Ballot
Gray - Entered too late to make Ballot

In a best-case scenario, this adds up to 188 electoral votes. So he still literally can't win.

IIRC Mcmuffin was optimistic about making it onto a bunch of ballots, through court challenges etc.  Surprise, surprise, doesn't look like his ridiculously late launching candidacy is going anywhere. For a "deep state" candidate, with  establishment ties from throughout his career, Mcmuffin seems to be involved in a very poorly thought out escapade.

Looks like Mcmuffin fails to make Mississippi according to ballot access news. However Prohibition Party and Delta party do. Epic fail.

He made it in Kentucky.

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/09/evan-mcmullin-kentucky-mississippi-ballots-227982

Green - On Ballot
Red - Write-In Access Only
Blue - Failed to make Ballot
Gray - Entered too late to make Ballot

In a best-case scenario, this adds up to 182 electoral votes.

I love how he took to CNN to bash Gary Johnson as "not a serious candidate" while he is a 100 votes short of actually being able to win the Presidency in the 0.0000000001% chance he somehow wins every state he's on the ballot in. The fact that he has talent like Rick Wilson running his campaign even makes it more embarrassing.

Evan's write in access has improved, but he's still 22 votes short of victory in a best case scenario.

Green - On Ballot
Red - Write-In Access Only
Blue - Failed to make Ballot
Gray - Entered too late to make Ballot
