I know Rubio gets a lot of hate on Atlas, and not all of it is deserved, but... God, he's awful.

So, does he support government assistance to help pay for the care of this child?

Obvious followup question for a reporter to ask.

Since when are Democrats fans of eugenics? Anyway, this is exactly what you'd expect from a pro-life candidate and won't move the needle no matter how much the Democrats talk about it.

Pro-life politician declines to make disingenuous exception for when the child would have this one specific disability, film at eleven.

You guys do realize the vast majority of pregnancies where the mother has the Zika virus don't result in microcephaly, right?

How is this any worse than the normal Pro-Life perspective?

The condition of the baby shouldn't change the fact that the mother has no right to kill it.

I really doubt this is going to flip any votes, so whatever.

Well tbh i could see Zika being a bludgeoning tool by the Dems.  Ebola helped the gop in 2014 imo

Amazing that the pro-choicers still don't get it. Tepid pro-lifers are not pro-life.

I would think this is close to a 50/50 proposition nationwide (perhaps Florida-wide as well?), not a slam dunk attack for Murphy.  Still, he should have handled it better.

Jesus. I don't know if it's just the fact that I have congenital neurological issues or what, but the fact that there's a thirty-six-point difference is appalling to me.

"Yes. by finally allowing insurance companies to compete across state lines, the child's parents will be able to afford quality health insurance!"
