Where do they stack up in terms of R and D, what are the issues facing American Indians and where do the two parties stand on those issues?

Native Americans or Indian Americans? Either way, they're usually pretty Democratic.

Dpeends on location usually. On Native American reservations, usually very Democratic, at least 70% or more. In Oklahoma, where the largest population of them reside all over the state not always on reservations, there's evidence they could be voting majority Republican. Overall: Usually Democratic, 60%+

But low turnout is consistent in these areas.

The GOP can pull those numbers? That's quite impressive actually. The Canadian Tories are happy to pull 10% on reserve and they're not nearly as right wing as the GOP.

Native Americans are especially Democratic here in South Dakota (Obama got 93% of the vote on Pine Ridge in 2012).  If the western part was its own state, it would be racially polarized politically like the Deep South, with most of the Democratic voters being minority.
