Giuliani was very high energy, and obviously Trump pointing at his wife like "LOOK HOW HOT SHE IS" at a REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION is hilarious, but beyond that it was almost too scripted and very boring. D-.

I was kind of shocked by how little enthusiasm there was in the audience and how empty it looked throughout. Many times I thought "is the audience even mic'd?"

Giuliani, melania, clarke, duffy, and Glenn all impressed me and Benghazi mama was a hit I guess, but the rest of Benghazi was a disaster and Flynn was hideous. C

F....It was disjointed... Melania should have been on  different night. Rudy was good I guess but the place lost all off its energy after Melania....It was like watching the end of a football game that is a blowout. Sad for the last few speakers...horribly planned.

C. Clarke, Melania were exceptional. I loved Giuliani's enthusiasm and energy, but after Melania spoke it got to be repetitive and it was unfortunate for the speakers after that..

Let's see who the Democrats have slotted to speak at their convention on the first day so far:
First Lady Michelle Obama, Senator Bernie Sanders and DREAMer Astrid Silva.

Yup.  Red meat for the party's African-American, progressive and Latino base.

All the parties do this at their heavily scripted convention borefests.

D+, maybe C. The GOP looked divided and disorganized and the speeches weren't great. There were no major controversies though, nothing that hurt our odds of winning. There is no scenario where the media says positive things about the convention anyway.
