That jump from immigration to the economy reminded me of Sarah Palins infamous Couric interview.  Bad transition.

Really, is first points of his speech is the number of votes he got in the primaries?

I was confused by what he meant when he said the democrats got 20% less vote than 4 years ago.

He was comparing the 2016 primaries (hotly contested to the end) to the 2012 primaries (never seriously contested). At least if I interpreted correctly.

No he's not. The average voter is too focused on what he's saying to care.

The problem with fact checking this BS is that people will say that fact checkers are liberal hacks. People get to choose the reality they want and ignore all evidence of the contrary. This campaign is confirmation bias on steroids.

I think he meant 8 years ago and not 4 years ago from the 2008 Dem primaries.

Then you deserve the outcomes of being driven by fear instead of facts.

Repeating statistics is not a good speech. Only the extremists that he already has locked up would like this speech.

That would make more sense. I haven't bothered to check the numbers.

Ivanka is definitely closer to being a Democrat than a Republican.

I hate when people say shlt like this as if someone else needs to analyze what you are.  If you're a Republican, you're a Republican.  Regardless of your views.  She's a Republican.

Wow, he's still sticking to his script.

I guess his logic that only high information voters would even know about about the leaked speech.  His target is low information voters tonight so it is best to stick to the speech that will appeal to that bloc of voters.
