Interesting thing to note: The Feds now tie Labor as the largest party. Though the Atlasian left still vastly outnumbers the Atlasian right, with the South being the right wing stronghold, Fremont a left wing stronghold and Lincoln the "swing region" (though I'd still classify it as lean left).

Tfw the 3rd largest party is a meme party.

I guess they are being successful in overthrowing the duopoly after all. Sad

I've taken the liberty to take that data and create some graphs. Enjoy! Not sure why Excel is messing up the X axis, but I've marked the years for a bit extra clarity. This also has the unintended sideffect of making PUP appear to rise from negative numbers lol, its graph matches perfectly with new years 2018.

Also, while the major parties are coloured right, some of the smaller parties new parties (YTC, GSB, etc) may have the "wrong" colours.

I can't find any previous census, but even the one from May 2010 is slightly different from the current one Tongue

CENSUS ATLASIA
Voter List has been updated

JCPPOPRPPDA SDPOtherInd.Total
Northeast12176526452
Mideast7781232342
Southeast545015222
Midwest935114225
Pacific1512103123
Total4832261972012164

Vane and true liberty were removed.

Also interesting how the largest 2010 region (the Northeast) is tied with the smallest current region (Fremont)

Is there a list I could find somewhere?

Just click on the latest link from Peebs. It should send you to a Google Documents spreadsheet with the list of voters

Wait DKrol I think did vote in February but was probably invalid.

Yes he did.

He was also valid this time, but didn't turn out.

Well, if DKrol attempted to vote, even if he was not valid, he should remain registered as invalid votes still count as votes for the purposes of remaining registered?

The Greens and the DA are just 3 people away from being the 2nd largest party in Fremont, beating the Federalists lol

I wonder when was the last time a non-Labor, non-Fed party led the opposition in a region (excluding the Labor revival period). I suppose at some point during the rise of PUP?

The Feds have reached the highest they have been since the week before the ACP, not even the June 2019 recruiting spree and the late 2019 lfromnj/LT recruiting spree resulted in the Feds reaching above 75 members.
That's the power of offsite recruiting!
I'm sorry that the opposition not having pathetic numbers is so painful for you.

Ah, I see the Federalists and the DA are the parties of "open borders" now Tongue

Meanwhile Labor will hopefully BUILD THE WALL and stop illegal Discord immigration!

inb4 “Good Story.”
Well, YT has been admitted to off-site recruit so it isn't a "good story"

So if he has admitted to it, then why do you continue to support him? Offsite recruiting has universally been condemned for a reason, it is in a way opening up Pandora's box/the third rail of Atlasian politics. It will do nothing but inspire arms races with people being bussed in from places like City Data Forums, as the inevitable next step. The end result is you end up with a game of like 500 people, which is unplayable, the silence on this issue from the supporters of the right-wing ticket is frankly alarming, no it isn't just concerning or disappointing, it is alarming.
Ah CityData Forum. You just gave us a wonderful idea!  Evil

Wolfentoad attempted to offsite recruit from Stormfront Tongue

CityData may as well be communists compared to that

I would be fine with having a smaller game, but Labor is only interested in reducing our numbers, not their own. Labor loves to recruit like mad and build up a huge zombie base, and as long as that is the case we will do what we must to keep up. Labor wants to have their cake and eat it too, support "keeping the game small" when we recruit but you'll never cut down on your number of zombies. When Labor is ready to engage in actual bilateral reform on this, I'd be happy to. But you haven't shown an interest in that.

There is a difference between recruiting from the actual Atlas forum and recruiting from outside.

However I will bite. I may not be running for reelection, but I am more than ready to pursue bipartisan reform on this matter which is very important for the future stability of the game.

What is your proposal then?

Almost all of those “off-site recruits” have already discovered the other boards, so they’ll probably be active users with 50-100 posts by the election. There’s no point in stripping them of their right to participate in this game.

Just look at True Whig! He has made very insightful posts on other boards.

If they stay on Atlas and become regular posters here I would not have an issue with them voting in Atlasia; the issue is that they are puttinjg the cart before the horse (and I am being extremely generous there)

Recruiting people to explicitly join Atlasia is bad though and breaks the game

You had no issues with Labor doing it lmao

It was bad when Labor did it and it is bad when the Feds do it. Assuming Labor ever did which I've still not been told of any proof of that; at least not to the extent YT is doing now (though one offsite recruit is already one too many).

Blindly using partisan registration is never a good way to predict elections.

Tbf as a super rough approximation it works for a start but yeah registration per se is not the ultimate predictor, not even close

And as if it wasn't clear already from this election's results, Fed+DA+YTC get a registation tie against Lab+Pax for the first time since what, early 2019?

Edit: Actually I can't do simple arithmetic apparently. The left is still up by 1, 109-108. But a registration advantage of 1 is not exactly big. I am almost tempted to join the Feds to overturn that Tongue
