If anything PUP should be pink. Labor has always been maroon. Personally, I like the method were PUP is just plain red, most computer monitors can tell between red and orangered well enough (not mine tho)

EDIT: Also, I'm glad Independents are lime green now like on Regular Atlas™, but i did enjoy that brief period where Alliance forced them to be Independent.

Well, all 3 left parties have claimed maroon as their color (other than peace). I would give the nod to Labor though in this case. Perhaps the colors can be:
Federalist (orangered)
Hoxhaist (crimson)
Labor (maroon)
Montfortian (blue)
Peace (purple)
Progressive Union (red)
Independent (limegreen)
Other (grey)

They could have at least opted for darkred, which looks similar but is still distinct. Maroon gets all the attention now.
