http://ap-gfkpoll.com/main/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/July-2016-AP-GfK-Poll-Posted-Topline_Clinton_Trump.pdf

Clinton 34%
Trump 30%
Johnson 4%
Stein 1%

If undecideds are pushed**:

Clinton 40%
Trump 36%
Johnson 6%
Stein 2%

This is an Internet poll of 1,009 people with a margin of error of 3.3%.

Favorability rating for each candidate:
Clinton (37-57)
Trump (31-63)
Johnson (10-12)
Stein (6-10)

Most people say that afraid (57%)*, angry (48%), or regretful (48%) describes how they would feel if Trump was elected. They would not describe themselves as proud (22%) or excited (26%). Clinton gets the same results, but with slightly different numbers. (Clinton is less with afraid (a lot less - not a majority), regretful, and angry, but more with proud.)

Many voters see Clinton as more civil (46%)*, likeable (32%), and qualified (49%) than Trump. They also see Trump as more honest (30%), decisive (49%), and racist (50%) than Clinton.

The average voter trusts things Clinton says about Trump more than things Trump says about Clinton. They also trust the media more on Trump than Clinton. But for each of them, more people don't trust than do trust.

59% of voters see the US economy as a whole as poor. But only 35% see themselves that way. Many people also think that while the US economy will get worse or stay the same for the next 12 years, they will be better off or the same after the same amount of time.

*These numbers are how many people think that those words accurately describe the candidate and how they would feel if they won. Numbers are bolded if a plurality of people agrees with the sentiment.

** Sorry about not including it sooner.

Looks reasonable, but 31% undecided? Dang. This election seems to have a pretty sizeable number of truly undecided voters.

The Trumpsters told me that Trump has this in the bag because muh Quinnipiac OH/PA/FL and Rasmussen, so this is obviously junk.

Why don't they include leaners? Both candidates well under 40 is laughable.

34% and 30%? Are the candidates that bad or is it just the methodology here? Wow.

The AP always has a ridiculous amount of undecideds for everything. The fact that there's more undecideds in general this year only exacerbates the problem.

Yeah, I've seen more implications from Dems that the only polls to be trusted are Reuters and the NBC polls suggesting a Clinton + 10 race than those from Republicans here saying this is an easy Trump win.

I basically feel we're at about a Romney '12 state right now.
