Is it Really Pence?

I have predicted Pence as the VP candidate, for a few days now, but the way this was announced is giving me pause for thought.  Maybe I am overthinking this or giving Trump and his campaign too much credit, but for the campaign to "leak" the name (and then "confirm" it to several news outlets), one day before the formal announcement and two hours before Trump even formally notified Pence, seems really non-media nor PR savvy.  And if Trump has any proven qualities, it is his handling of the media. 

I am beginning to think that there may yet be a "yooge" surprise (Fallin, Flynn, Rubio, Kasich, Rice, ?), in store for everyone tomorrow.

I honestly think Kasich's long game is 2020. He sat a the poker table long enough this year, everybody played their hand and left, but Kasich gained name recognition as a sensible moderate voice even if he never had a shot. Accepting a VP hurts him win or lose. Either he's associated with a losing ticket or he's locked in for the next 8 years.

I heard the Rice story as well. I don't believe he ever wanted her as VP and anybody being reached out to for the first time this late in the game (with the convention actually starting on July 18) is not a serious choice. Trump reached out to Condi in a "Rooney Rule"way

The word "Dense" and trump go hand-and-hand.
One definition of dense = Someone who lacks common sense, acts like an idiot and makes a fool of themselves without realizing.
OK .... so maybe this definition is better suited for trump rather than for Pence. But it the shoe fits ....
