I don't know who's the worst, but Palin was pretty good as governor, well at least not that bad.

Walker/Murkowski (he was a Bob Taft-level disaster as Governor, IIRC)

Yeah, he lost his primary against Palin with <20%.

Walker/Murkowski (he was a Bob Taft-level disaster as Governor, IIRC)

Yeah, he lost his primary against Palin with <20%.

From what I remember, Palin was actually considered a pretty successful Governor until McCain picked her as his running-mate and then she almost instantly turned into a complete disaster (both as a VP nominee and as Governor).  I think Murkowski was a mess from day one.

I'd argue damage done by Palin outweights what was before 2008. I guess the smartest thing she did was to resign.
