I'm assuming it's because assembly is so boring, but I'd like to hear PiT's reasoning.

I agree with President Leinad's argument here, basically. I have nothing against Assembly, other than that every other region is doing it. We have always been different, in this regard and others, and I would prefer that we continue being different.

What is your personal preference on what the legislature is called? I would honestly be perfectly fine if we kept it as the southern legislature.

I like the other options on the table, and under other conditions I would like Assembly as well. I just take issue with it now because of how it has become the most generic option available to us.

I'll grant the motion because maybe Governor PiT statement changed the situation?  Though in the future, I'd rather not have re-votes on amendments without a clear explanation as to why we should do that.

We will now vote on dfwlibertylover's motion to amend the bill back to the original form as introduced by Legislator Peebs.  Members will vote AYE, NAY, or ABSTAIN.  This will be a 24 hour vote.

Voting is now closed.  The AYEs are 3, and the NAYs are 1, with 1 not voting.  The AYEs have it, and the amendment is agreed to.

Voting is now closed.  The AYEs are 4, and the NAYs are 0, with 1 not voting.  The AYEs have it, and the bill has passed.  The bill is now passed onto the Governor for his signature or veto.
