That's what the Election Gala thread is, Phil. Wink

This area can be seen as the outside-the-gala discussion area. You know...where people debate what's going on, yell at each other, etc. People can go back to the gala after their nice debate and talk more civily.  Smiley

I think Phil is in serious trouble. I don't see very many second preferences for him, and he's already lost MasterJedi and StatesRights to Harry. This is all from a scan of the ballots, no actual counting, it's my observations. Supersoulty is doing much better than polling said he would, that is also bad for Phil because he's closest to him ideologically, and if he's around late, those are votes Phil is not going to get. Siege is vastly underachieving, but it's very early. King and JFK are going to split first preferences, and they will both go out early because they aren't 1 and 2 on a lot of ballots.

Supersoulty has definitely put up a better showing in the preliminary results than expected, that's for sure.  I had been expecting a King vs Harry showdown myself.  I think the endorsements of Wildcard and hughento helped Supersoulty a lot.  Undeniably choosing WMS as running mate was also an excellent decision.  Of course, with less than a third of people voting so far, we've still got a ways to go.

Phil is certainly not completly dead yet, there's a lot of ACAers who haven't voted yet, some of them who are dead wood, some of them who aren't.

I have no idea. I was trying to figure it out. I guess some people will just never vote for an "evil Republican" even though I'm not a Republican in Atlasia or evil, damn I knew I should have changed my avatar to red last night.

Migrendel doesn't have an avatar, I believe.

The voters are as inactive as Migrendel, so they don't know he's inactive, leading them to vote for him.

I'm also kind of surprised at how many votes Kodratos has gotten, he's pretty inactive as well.

If he is so inactive he probably won't show up to be sworn in hence there would be a special election Smiley.

The Jesus vote flows to JFK, so you should add another vote to JFK.

To explain my vote: I never intended to preference every candidate. I did not preference JFK because:

1-he's already been president
2-he was inactive for a very long period before just jumping in here to run
3-I was never able to see his campaign as anything but a joke

I did not preference soulty for obvious reasons.

I was initially not going to preference Phil either, but after some whining on his part over the weekend, I decided to throw a swipe at him there inside. Note the two preferences over him. So do not get the idea I prefer Phil to the non-preferenced.
