Welcome to the Downtown Phoenix Hyatt.  We have an open bar and much festivities to attend to.  Enjoy!

As soon as I'm finished in Nyman I'll be sure to race the sun across country to Phoenix. Great city

Well, good luck Future Prez.  I'll sure be happy to be there in spirit, as I have my own race to deal with.

Hello everyone,

I have just returned from campaigning for FuturePrez in Scottsdale and Mesa and I must say, I am extremely happy with the results. Hopefully, the great results will continue and the citizens of the Pacific Region will have sent a great man to Nyman. Good afternoon Phoenix and good luck to the next Pacific Region's Senator, FuturePrez.

Well congrats, but isn’t it just a tad early to be celebrating?

Considering he first posted this an hour and a half after the polls opened, he was probably just doing what all politicians do and calling their final rally as a "victory rally" or something to that effect.

MHS is right; when this thread was first posted nobody knew how lopsided the preliminary results would be (in fact, most people were predicting a win for True Democrat).

This morning I thought I would lose for sure.  Now, I'm only down 7-6.

Good of you to arrive TrueDem, have a drink Smiley.  In fact drinks all around! Of course I didn't think this race was over at 4-1.  It's always a victory party Cheesy

Jake, I'd like to thank you for coming out to the East Valley to help with my final campaign push and for the kind words.

I'm guessing that FuturePrez is just doing what all politicians do, having celebration party.  As would I.

It might look a little questionable in comparison to the way candidates have acted in the past, but I see no intention to declare victory before vote counting is over with.

After all, there's still a lot of race left.

FuturePrez acsends to the stage at the Hyatt from his hotel room among the boysterous cheers of the crowd

What a weekend this has been!  I was heartened by early results, but I knew this race was going to tighten up and did it ever!

I just spoke with SoFA True Democrat and he congratulated me on a well-run race.  I pledged my support to him if newly elected President Siege decides to keep him on as SoFA.  We also are determined to work together for the best interests of the Pacific region and Atlasia as a whole.  This was a well-run election.  I'm proud that this race showed all of Atlasia what an election is supposed to be like.

I would like to thank all of my supporters because if not for each and every single one of you I would not be here right now.  I believe we're going to have a great Senate to work with the next term.  I was very happy to see Senators ColinW, MasterJedi, Sam Spade, and DanielX reelected.  This will be a group of senators that will get business done for Atlasia!  Thank you and God bless Atlasia!
