Saddam Hussein was a fascist, or close enough to warrant the label.  And he tried everything he could to stamp out Islamism, up to and including killing and torturing his own civilians and invading neighbor states.  And, of course, there's Assad in Syria.

GWB using it was part of the silly effort to paste OBL's beard on Saddam's face.

If she continues down this path and pushes for a strong foreign policy, (not Bernie's isolationist kumbaya foreign policy) I could see myself backing Clinton in November. I recognize that Trump, while "strong" by some definitions, is a loose cannon and does not have even close to Clinton's knowledge on world affairs.

I can't switch back after only a day, though.
