No surprise.

Warner is smart enough not to blow his Presidential aspirations by running against, and losing to Allen.

If this is true, Warner is making a big mistake. As a 1 term governor he doesn't have enough experience to run for president. The only thing he'd bring to a national race is his southern pedigree, which is a big help, but not necessary.

I don't think Warner should run for president. I'm not an expert on Virginia politics of course but I think he should run against Allen. Even if Allen has a high rating now, Warner still has a much better chance to win a senate seat than the presidency.

He'd lose Virginia but wouldn't lose nationwide. Moderate Democrat vs. far right winger, no contest.

So you agree that moderate Californians don't own confederate flags? Good. Now, guess what state Senator Allen is from?

If he's from California, Reagan is from Illinois, and Bush is from Connecticut. No one looks at it that way except you, because it's really not relevant at all.

I figure the odds are two to one in Allen's favor in a Senatorial race, and 55/45 in a Presidential race.

Allen is extremely overrated.

His approval rating was only 53% in the state, and he is the dumbest Senator in Washington.

Well we know for a fact Mark Warner is smarter than you, and he doesn't appear to agree. So it's fair to infer you, in fact, are the dumb one here.
