According to the internet, the man who invented college was probably educated at it's forerunner, the cathedral/monastic school.

But we all know that, in truth, the man who invented college was actually a time-traveler who taught (and then conferred a degree on) a younger version of himself - so that the younger version could then travel back into time and start the first university.
