Why can't I delete or report my own threads?

When I realized that I made a mistake in a poll I was about to delete the whole thread, as I cannot correct the question nor the options of a poll.
But when I hit the 'delete' button I found out that I can't remove my own thread. On top of that, I discovered that I can't even report my own comments in order to make the mods delete the regarding thread because, muh, "that doesn't make any sense".
Can the admins please change that policy?

You can delete your own thread. There's this button  at the bottom of the page.

You can't report your own post, though. That would be... weird.

In my experience, that "remove topic" button only appeared once I reached 500 posts.

For now, maybe you could PM a moderator for help.

You're right. You need 500 posts in order to be able to delete your own threads.
I can see the  button now.
