Copied format from #TheShadowyAbyss:

Social Policy

Abortion: Pro-Choice and no need for parental notification/consent

Gay Marriage: Strongly support

Drugs: Legalize/decriminalize drugs and tax marijuana purchases.

Stem Cell Research: Support strongly

Death Penalty: Support in theory but aganist it as policy based on the number of innocent people who've been put on death row. I don't have enough faith in the system to allow the death penalty to continue.

Gun control: Background checks, psychological test, proof of training, ban assault riffles. Handguns and shotguns (for hunting) are ok.

Affirmative Action: I'm ok with it for college purposes if it's based on income/SES.

Immigration: Support legal immigration and a pathway to citizenship for undocumented people. Support the DREAM Act.

Economic Issues

Minimum Wage: Tie the minimum wage to inflation based on the area you live in. Get rid of the tipped minimum wage.

Regulation: Depends on what it is.

Welfare: Doesn't go far enough in this country and rarely helps pick people up off their feet.

Right-to-Work: No opinion on this

Taxation: The rich should pay more. Close loopholes and deductions and raise rates.

Healthcare: Support universal healthcare but I don't know how likely single payer would be. Our current system is a bureaucratic mess  that wastes time and money.

Social Security: Support it and believe it needs to be made stronger. Too many seniors still live in poverty even with their SS.

Trade: Support free trade as long as it benefits people over huge corporations. We live in a globalized world and can't be cut off from everyone else.

Education: Not a fan of privatization efforts or the teacher's union. Put kids before special interests. Don't tie school funding to property values as it leads to huge gaps between the rich and poor. Don't focus on tests so much. We need a diversified, high-tech education that includes arts, humanities, and technical trades.

Balanced Budget Amendment: A fantasy

Tort reform: Don't know wnough to take a stance

Foreign Policy and National Security

We should be active and engaged in the world, but that doesn't mean we need a bloated and costly military. There's no need for hundreds of bases around the world.

Other

Climate Change: Climate change is real but I don't know how much we can do about it at this point.

Evolution: Evolution is absolutely real. It should be taught in schools. Keep rayer out f the classroom. Save that for Christian club and afterschool activities.

Green Energy: Invest in alternate energy
