1. This should be stickied. (Why isn't it?)
2. Hoping for Donna Edwards to win!

Voted about 45 minutes ago. Voted for Edwards and Raskin. My fiancé went with Van Hollen and Raskin.

This feels like one of those things where I'm rooting for someone but I'm not really sure why. I think I want Edwards and McGinty to win, but mostly because I saw a video of Sestak knocking over a kid and I don't like the name Van Hollen.

Out of curiosity, why Raskin? He seems good to me, but how is he different from the other candidate(s)?

Exit polls in MD showing high black turnout - good for Edwards. But then again, this is an exit poll. They're pretty sketchy.

Out of curiosity, why Raskin? He seems good to me, but how is he different from the other candidate(s)?

1) He has helped pass so much progressive legislation in the State Senate: Maryland Green Act, Military Assault Weapons Ban, Death Penalty Repeal, Equal Pay Act, and Legalizing Same Sex Marriage. The other candidates don't have a record even close to that.

2) The two other viable options are awful. David Trone has pumped 9 million dollars of his own money into the campaign. He's donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republicans and the past and he supports the TPP. Kathleen Matthews, wife of MSNBC's Chris Matthews, is a former Marriott Lobbyist and hasn't made a decision on the TPP. She wouldn't be as awful as Trone, but Raskin is still better.

3) Raskin offered my fiancé a job last year when she was looking for work, she too a different job, but she he seemed to be a really great guy.

Anyone else curious about the PA-09 GOP primary, will Transportation committee chairman Shuster survive his primary?  (It seems like his tea party challenger has a lot of strength at least in the area I am near)

Select polling stations in West Baltimore (Black precincts) opened up late this morning and Donna Edwards got a judge to extend voting hours in those precincts by 1-1.5 hours.

Makes sense. Sounds like you made a good choice.

Wonderful news all around, particular for DSCC.

Van Hollen and McGinty look like they'll win, and win big too.

Chaka Fattah is losing now to Dwight Evans, while the gap is closing in Shuster's race.

Can't believe Fattah is being allowed to run, let alone keep this race close.

Whats in the future for Edwards?

Obviously can't contest her House seat so... maybe Governor?

Governor, or hope that Cardin retires, I guess.

I was unaware McGinty was surging. That was a big surprise.
