What if the 1976 presidential election plays out how it did OTL, but Eugene McCarthy doesn't mount an independent run.

Assuming that all of his voters go to Carter, Iowa, Maine, and Oregon, and come very close in Oklahoma.

Ford had far more appeal to the urban areas McCarthy excelled in. I can't see Carter picking up any states from it.
