I assume LawNewz.com will be on the scene to report when this lawsuit is dismissed.

Your a bit late, the judge already held the hearing. Its been postponed for 4 days and the judge has instructed the plaintiffs to name each county(over 60) as defendants to defend their voter registration process.

lol

That they didn't list the counties as defendants shows that their legal representation is probably some incompetent buffoon.

What is the point of this, though? Are people being given provisional/"affidavit" ballots right now? (it appears some are, and some aren't) Because I don't see how this can be remedied if it's not solved like, right now. I mean what can the judge do after today, order the state to hold another primary?

I mean, its just what Ive heard, but supposedly the main people behind this lawsuit arent even involved in election law. If that's true then it wouldn't be surprising if they came unprepared.

I agree. Their vote must be made today, for these votes to count.
They should be given provisional ballots and be given the right to vote. Then in the next couple of days,
the court(s) can rule if their votes should count, then they can be included in the official numbers, before N.Y. certifies the final results.

It's a bit like the people running around online suggesting the overly tight October registration deadline is "voter fraud"... Christ.
