They were all so terrible, I honestly can't choose. So I voted Gilmore.

Without a doubt it was Carson.

Now, the Carson campaign didn't really succeed in getting votes, but they sure did raise a lot of money.  Therefore, they were really the only campaign that succeeded at what they set out to do.

Given his situation, Chris Christie ran a decent campaign, it just never resonated.

No doubt it was Rubio up until the New Hampshire debate screw up, and when he crashed electorally in March.

Considering that his campaign was at its heart a money laundering scheme, obviously Ben Carson.

Christie deserves it, just for his brutal takedown of Rubio.

Ugh there is no good answer. They were all disasters. But I guess...

He also got DC AND Puerto Rico. That's better than Walter Mondale can say.

He was falsely reported to have won a municipality in Greater Boston due to a tabulation error. Considering the nature of his campaign and the limited resources available to him, that qualifies as a resounding success.

I agree with ElectionsGuy in picking Christie and Rubio. Both ran fairly solid campaigns.

All of them were terribly-flawed candidates. For what he was, Marco Rubio ran the best campaign to the extent that he lasted longest.

This. Honorable mention goes to Carson, who had his Santorum moment before everyone realized he was an incoherent loon.

Rubio actually won D.C, Minnesota and PR, so he ran the best campaign here.

Carson, considering his campaign was a Ponzi scheme from the start and never meant to go far, the fact that he played second fiddle to trump for a while is impressive.

Rubio would be the straightforward answer considering he won a state and contested quite a lot of them, but he squandered a lot of good chances too that would've made NH less embarrassing.

Graham. He had the guts to say a lot of things the base didn't really want to hear, and I happen to agree with him on most things except for economic policy. So Graham wins in terms of having a "brave" campaign.

Christie had the best campaign if you consider his forked-tongue absentee governor tour a good campaign.

Christie's campaign was decent, but it was another case of Christie being better on paper than he is in reality.

Ben Carson led in the polls for a time despite having no policy, ideology or charisma.
