I wish people would just ignore superdelegates until the primaries ended.

Until one candidate gets to 2026 pledged delegates this is much ado about nothing.
If Clinton wins 2026 or more pledged delegates, I won't complain if super delegates voting for her. It is not likely that Sanders could win the nomination with less than 2026 pledged delegates, anyway.

I don't think super delegates have ever denied the winner of a majority of delegates the nomination, have they?

No, they haven't.

However, the fact that Clinton will almost certainly win the popular vote (even if you could somehow add caucuses) means that they might be more likely to back her this time even if she loses most pledged delegates.

The one funniest thing that Sanders supporters ignore is that Hillary is ahead by 2 million votes

lol, the campaign which had a 400-delegate lead before a single vote was cast is complaining about the system being rigged? Anyway, it's not going to matter, superdelegates are going to stick with Clinton, and she'll end up with more pledged delegates.

It's probably a bit closer than that due to caucuses, but caucuses generally have low turnout.
