How nasty will a Trump-Clinton general election get?

What do you think? If the Trump-Clinton spat we got a few months ago is any indication of what's to come, we can expect a really nasty summer and fall campaign.

It also makes me both excited and intrigued about their general election debates

Violence and intimidation at the polls (by Trumpsh**ts) nasty. The only saving grace will be that Trump & Co are such a bunch of incompetents that their attempts to created nationwide violence  will end up being sporadic.

LOL, Cruz would call Sanders a Bolshevik, Joseph Stalin, un-American, a godless atheist, and so on. Cruz would be filthy dirty in a campaign against either Sanders or Clinton since he considers liberals a holy enemy that must be destroyed
