After losing Aldridge, Matthews, Lopez, Batum which was 4/5 of the Blazers starters , they still made the playoffs. According to Mike Barret(Blazer Color Commenter) they are the only team in NBA history who only had 2 players who played over 1000 minutes and lose as many starters as they did to make the playoffs.

I'm sorry I don't want to be a d*ck but you're just going to be hard pressed to find anyone blown away with them this year as the 6 seed when you have GS who could (hopefully won't) break the 72-wins record, and SA who could go undefeated at home. Portland is a good team and I hope they could beat GS in the playoffs if they met. But if nobody is even talking about what great things are happening in the NBA right now on this site, a third tier in the west team won't get much love. But God bless and go far in the playoffs.

They were expected to be one of the worst teams Vegas had them winning 26 games and so did ESPN . Even the most optimistic predictions was them finishing with 35 wins . They are the only team in NBA history to make the playoffs after losing as much players as they did.

Right now the Blazers are tied for 5th and likely will get it and I think Portland could beat the clippers .
I mean they only beat us when cj was somehow out of the lineup and jk redick hit a game winner plus the clippers are chokers . I don't think  Portland can beat the warriors but what they did was still impressive considering the circumstances.

Ya I know know one talks about it here that's why there is ESPN and real gm

Do you think they have a shot at winning the western conference championship and going on to lose against the Cleveland Cavaliers, or are they going to end up losing to the Warriors or another team who will give the Cavs a fight in a possible rematch of last year that will, this time, be won by Cleveland?
