i'm thinking about changing my party to the Constitution Action Party. What do y'all think about this/or how do you do it?
Go here to learn about this party and tell me if you think it is a good party

Why would you want to do that? If you have any issues with the Republican Party or AFRNC you can bring them up with me Smiley

If you wish to create your own party, all you have to do is make an announcement and register yourself as one I think.

However, I would recommend against splitting the conservative vote by creating another party.

I don't see any advantage to joining a "party" with only one member.   As an independent, you could vote in some primaries of both the major parties, and as a Republican, you could influence who they nominate for various offices and possibly get endorsements for your own campaigns.  But unless you think you can create a groundswell of support for this new party, I don't see what good it does you.

I think it's too late to run in the current election.  You should be eligable to run next time around though.

BTW, what is the difference between this and the better-known Constitution Party (the party Roy Moore might run under).

Like the Republican party in real life, there are many shades of Repubican here.  There are moderate Northeastern Republicans like myself.  There are the very religious conservative Republicans from the south; StatesRights is a good example.  All are welcome as long as you support the concepts of limited goverment and individual responsiblity.
