In a Politico piece about Chris Murphy's Twitter skills, he's asked about 2020:

It's funny but Murph is defiantly the dark horse we could be calling president in 2020

Murphy has some potentially serious issues, at least in the general; specifically, his stance on gun control and his past financial controversies.
I like Murphy and would even consider voting for him in the primary, but I feel like the gun control thing would sink him with Ohio and Pennsylvania. Not to mention he's another northeastern establishment liberal (albeit to Hillary's left).

Moulton denies having 2020 ambitions while twice using the "f-word" (focused):

Aaron Blake at WaPo on how Kasich has shifted on the question of primarying Trump from "no" to "maybe":

On Kamala Harris

“Now’s the time prospective presidential candidates start taking the subtle but crucial behind-the-scenes steps that get them noticed by the political intelligentsia, and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is quietly following the script.”

“She’s making speeches to key national constituencies. She’s due for an appearance at a Washington think-tank panel full of chattering-class presidential favorites that the national media will be reporting and analyzing, probably for days. She’s been fundraising for colleagues and making sure that she is forming relationships with key national reporters.”

“They’re all boxes that prospective presidential candidates routinely check. It’s a chance to ultimately convince insiders they’ve got the gravitas and the fundraising chops to be taken seriously.”

Julian Castro story here:

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/former-housing-secretary-julian-castro-has-gone-unfiltered-politics-n756556

He says he won't run for anything in 2018.  Noncommittal for what happens after that.

Back in January the story was out that Castro was talking about his future an it was out if he ran in 2018 for anything he was planning for for long term like 2030's but if he didn't he would be running in 2020.......so we have our first entry into 2020

Booker already has a video out on the Comey firing:

I misread this as "a book out on the Comey firing."

I think I need to take a break and Presidential books need to stop being a thing.

In that story, she even gives a non-denial with "focus":

Kasich on Comey's firing.
https://twitter.com/JohnKasich/status/862130601465393152/photo/1

Why would Kasich need to make a statement on Comey, as Governor of Ohio? Clearly he is positioning himself to run in 2020. Looks like he's trying to appear statesmanlike and moderate. It won't work in the GOP primary, but I'd be happy if Kasich ran in 2020.

Kasich is the most blatantly obvious candidate we've had in a long time.

Cory Booker is the person guaranteed to run (assuming O'Malley will realize he is a joke, has no support in the polls & is present only for entertainment & will drop out). Then maybe Kasich!

If I had to bet on 1 person, it will be Cory Booker !

I mean we have seen it before where people run for cabinet positions. I think that's exactly what O'Malley's doing. He knows or at least should know that he won't win the nomination, but that's not his goal.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says there's a "real possibility" he runs.

This is getting crazy. All nobodies, without any political experience, joke candidates without any policies are supposedly legit contenders now that Trump is the President. Guess Democrats want their own clown show !

Would love to see The Rock primary Trump, could realistically see a lot of that WWC support shift to him as they love their fake wrestling.

President Johnson and Vice President Kasich unironically sounds interesting.
