If there's any state that's a fit for Trump, it's AZ.

Do you think Trump resonates well in the state that refused to make MLK a state holiday, celebrates a vigilante sheriff who humiliates inmates, and passed laws allowing law enforcement to stop brown people on the street and require them to provide proof, on the spot, of legal status?

Nah, that's not a state served up on a platter for Donald Trump at all Smiley.
Every fact you listed is part of what makes Arizona a great state.  It's called common sense.

Yes, it makes good sense to profile people.  For example, little old white ladies are not flying planes into buildings.
And MLK was not a national hero in the minds of everyone.

Who is? Certainly not Christopher Columbus.

To respond to the holiday banter: states rights - can't make them honor random holidays.

I predict the winner of AZ will be either: a) Trump, or b) the Donald. The heat makes people do things.

'The federal government cannot literally force one to [do X]' does not mean 'one is justified in [not doing X]', or make any sense as a moral argument at all.

Trump wins, Cruz finishes second, Kasich gets 2%.

With  only 2 candidates, the chances of someone's hitting 50% are greater. Trump might do it in Arizona.

Don't forget, there are quite many Mormons living in Northern Arizona, and they'll be giving their vote to Cruz.

Also, only registered Republicans can vote in the GOP primary.

It probably matter less here, than for example Arkansas, since Arizona probably have few conservative Democrats that might cross over and vote for Trump.

One never needs a justification to not give deference through celebration of a holiday. If it were up to me (concerning my home state of Massachusetts), the only state holidays would be Bunker Hill Day, Evacuation Day, Flag Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Veterans' Day.
